A highly effective subcutaneous injection for ornithosis and Chlamydia in pigeons
When it comes to respiratory infections, pigeon lovers often mention ornithosis, mycoplasmosis, and chlamydia, among others. They also describe symptoms like "fat heads" and "dry snot" (which, let's be real, are pretty funny terms). These infections can cause irritation in the throat and airways, leading to redness or even watery eyes (or, as the Dutch would say, "vleijse"). And, let's not forget the dreaded "dry snot," which tends to pop up more in hot weather when those pesky Southeast winds blow.
In the summertime, these high temperatures and low humidity can really dry out a pigeon's mucous membranes during a race (and even just one hour of extreme temps can do the trick). So if you notice your pigeons sneezing at night in the dark, it might be a sign of this pesky infection.
Hearing "Atishoo" or "Tsch" from a pigeon may be common, but some may also make gurgling noises. If you see a reddened nose and throat, it's a sign of dry snot - a major performance killer for pigeons. Luckily, ORNI ONE is the most effective and fastest treatment - just one subcutaneous injection in the back of the neck, like a vaccine. For stubborn cases, a second injection after 48 hours may be necessary. And the best part? It won't affect your pigeons' condition during the season.
Dosage and Administration
0.5 ml per pigeon, subcutaneously on the neck. Repeat after two days if needed.
Size
50 ml (1.7 fl oz) - 100 doses per bottle
